These are aimed at those who have never sailed before but think they might like it. It is an opportunity to try a new sport at a minimalcost of £35 for adults. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult but the cost is £15. It is an informal, though structured, day with plenty of experienced sailors ready to answer questions and take ‘tastees’ out onto the water. A buffet lunch is provided. Booking is essential The 2009 Taster Day Series were great fun for all those involved. Those club members who helped out enjoyed themselves as did all the ‘tastees’.
